How much room do I need to have to place a container?
We recommend at least 13’ of height without tree limbs, overhangs, roofs or wires in the way. Although the container is only 8’ tall we need the space to unload it from the truck. We also need at least 50’ from the road in order to place the container safely. Containers may be placed on the street in many locations but please check with your local municipality.
Do I need to have a paved driveway?
We need a solid, flat surface to offload and place the container. It can be paved, concrete, gravel, stone, etc. We do not recommend placing in the grass as it can tear up the yard and become stuck in wet conditions.
What is the shortest/longest term I can have the container?
It’s totally up to you! Whether you need it for a weekend or anticipate several months we can accommodate you either way. You can have the container as short or as long as you want it. Terms and conditions apply based on term of rental so call ahead for a free quote.
How (and when) do I pay for the container?
We except most major debit/credit cards. We do not except cash, check, money order or payment apps at this time (Venmo, Cash app, etc.) Initial payment must be processed 24 hours prior to delivery of empty container. The initial payment includes any applicable delivery fee, taxes or add-on services. Future monthly rental payments are made on the monthiversary date each month. Final delivery or relocating of containers are done 24 hours prior to service.
If my container is at your facility, can I access my belongings?
Yes, just call ahead and we will set your container aside so you can access it. We will put it back into long-term storage when you are finished.
Are my belongings covered by insurance? How about the container itself?
Your stored belongings are covered by our Storage Protectors contents insurance which is based on the amount of coverage you need. Please check for rates. The container itself is fully covered for damages through our damage waiver plan. There is a small monthly fee added for this.
